The highly anticipated seventh season of The Legend of Hanuman is set to premiere on JioHotstar on October 23, 2026, dropping as a major festive launch with multilingual options including Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bangla, and Marathi. The 3D animated mythological action-drama pushes the battle of Lanka into its defining, darkest hour, raising the stakes higher than ever before in the franchise’s celebrated run.
Season 7’s narrative plunges viewers into a moment of despair as Ravan unleashes an omnipotent, multi-headed invincible form upon the battlefield. With the Vanara army gripped by fear and hopelessness, the tide can only be turned by Mahabali Hanuman, who embarks on a dangerous quest across time and dimensions to find the legendary Mrityu Baan—the Arrow of Death—the only weapon capable of ending Ravan’s reign of terror. This high-stakes storyline, teased in the trailer released on October 12, has already received widespread praise for its immersive background score and the emotional weight it promises to deliver.
The voice cast remains a major pillar of the show’s identity. Damandeep Singh Baggan continues his acclaimed voice portrayal of Hanuman, capturing the character’s transition as he awakens his inner Rudra power to face divine trials. Sharad Kelkar returns as Ravan, universally praised across all previous seasons for delivering a thunderous, menacing vocal performance that has become synonymous with the show. Sanket Mhatre brings deep emotional depth to Lord Ram as the narrative delves into Ram’s forgotten past. The series is co-created by Sharad Devarajan, Jeevan J. Kang, and Charuvi Agrawal under Graphic India.
While Season 7 officially premieres tomorrow, the franchise carries a massive legacy from its previous six chapters. The series is highly celebrated on YouTube and Indian pop-culture forums for pioneering cutting-edge 3D animation in Indian television. Audiences have consistently lauded the show for balancing grand action set-pieces with a mature, emotionally resonant depiction of Bhakti, or devotion. Past seasons faced minor criticisms from niche animation groups regarding slight rendering inconsistencies in non-action sequences, but the show remains a gold standard for mythological animation in India. As a flagship Hotstar Specials release, The Legend of Hanuman stands as one of the most-watched animated properties in the country, accumulating billions of streaming minutes across its 50+ episode run since its inception in 2021.
With Season 7, the franchise appears to be scaling new heights both narratively and visually. The introduction of Ravan’s multi-headed form and Hanuman’s dimensional quest for the Mrityu Baan signals a darker, more urgent chapter that could redefine the series’ emotional and action boundaries. For longtime fans, the return of the beloved voice cast and the promise of a festive multilingual release make this one of the most exciting animated premieres of the year. Whether you have followed the journey since 2021 or are discovering the series for the first time, The Legend of Hanuman Season 7 arrives on JioHotstar on October 23, 2026, ready to deliver a mythological spectacle that honors both its source material and its devoted audience.
