The much-anticipated Prince and Family, marking Dileep’s milestone 150th film, is now slated for release on May 9, shifting from its originally planned April schedule. The announcement was accompanied by a new poster that showcases the lead actor alongside Manju Pillai and Johny Antony, hinting at the film’s strong family-centric narrative.
Directed by debutant Binto Stephen and penned by Jana Gana Mana and Queen writer Sharis Mohammed, the film is positioned as a heartfelt family drama. The star-studded cast also includes seasoned performers such as Siddique, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Bindu Panicker, Parvathy Rajan Sankaradi, Rosebeth Joy, Aswin P Jose, Joseutty Jacob, and Vineeth Thatti David.
Prince and Family brings together a skilled technical crew, with Renadive handling cinematography, Sagar Dass as editor, and Sanal Dev composing the music. The film is produced by Listin Stephen under the Magic Frames banner, with Justin Stephen serving as co-producer, promising a polished and emotional cinematic experience.
In addition to this project, Dileep has another major release lined up — Bha Bha Ba, a mass entertainer helmed by debutant director Dhananjay Shankar. With a script by actors Fahim Safar and Noorin Shereef, the film also stars Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan, adding to the excitement among fans awaiting Dileep’s dynamic return to the big screen.
