Kunchacko Boban’s upcoming Malayalam film Hail Mary has officially locked its worldwide theatrical release for November 26, 2026. The announcement was made on November 2, coinciding with the actor’s birthday, as fans and the industry showered the beloved Mollywood star—affectionately known as Chackochan—with warm wishes.
The film is based on a story by acclaimed Malayalam novelist G. R. Indugopan, with the screenplay written by Dr. Neeraj Rajan alongside veteran filmmaker Martin Prakkat. The narrative is expected to follow a heart-warming journey surrounding a bus trip, a detail hinted at in the film’s first-look poster, which showed Kunchacko Boban alongside a child actor on a bus.
Marking the directorial feature debut of Vishnu Revikumar, Hail Mary is backed by Martin Prakkat Films in collaboration with Green Room Productions. This project marks Martin Prakkat’s third production collaboration with Kunchacko Boban, following the critically acclaimed Nayattu and Officer on Duty. The technical team includes cinematographer Roby Varghese Raj, composer Jakes Bejoy, and editor Chaman Chakko.
