Following the intense action-packed thriller Marco, Unni Mukundan is set to showcase a completely different side of his acting prowess in Get-Set Baby!. Moving from the world of crime to the field of medicine, the actor plays Dr. Arjun Balakrishnan, a dedicated and successful gynecologist specializing in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). As the only male student in his class, Arjun grew to become a well-respected figure in his department, surrounded by female colleagues. However, amid his professional success, he finds himself drawn to a chef who initially dislikes him, setting the stage for a heartwarming love story.
Directed by Vinay Govind, the film blends romance and comedy with an engaging narrative. Get-Set Baby! features a talented ensemble cast, including Nikhila Vimal, Chemban Vinod Jose, Shyam Mohan, Surabhi Lakshmi, and Johny Antony. This marks Govind’s fourth directorial venture after Kili Poyi and Kohinoor, both of which were well-received for their unique storytelling and humor. Produced by Skanda Cinemas and Kingsmen Productions, the film is set for a grand release on Friday, February 21, with Aashirvad Cinemas handling distribution in Kerala. The film’s music is composed by Sam C.S., known for his powerful soundtracks, with the title track featuring lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar and vocals by Naresh Iyer. The song, released earlier this week, has already gained attention, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film.
