Pooja Meri Jaan, the Hindi psychological crime drama, is set to premiere tomorrow, October 2, 2026, exclusively on ZEE5. Directed by Navjot Gulati and produced under the Maddock Films banner by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, this highly anticipated thriller tackles dark themes surrounding male entitlement, unrequited love, obsession, and consent. The film promises to be a thought-provoking addition to the streaming platform’s growing library of content-driven cinema, offering viewers a gripping narrative that challenges societal norms and explores the complexities of human relationships.
The narrative follows Pooja Dogra, played by Mrunal Thakur, a young woman whose life turns upside down after she rejects the romantic advances and marriage proposal of her close friend, Aniket Srivastava, portrayed by Vikram Singh Chauhan. Following the rejection, Aniket tragically dies by suicide, thrusting Pooja into the centre of a chaotic legal nightmare filled with serious allegations of abetment. The story unfolds from multiple perspectives, primarily through Sana, a determined lawyer played by Huma Qureshi, who takes up Pooja’s case. As Sana attempts to piece together the truth, the film presents conflicting accounts that blur the lines between reality, obsession, and perception, keeping viewers guessing until the very end.
The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Mrunal Thakur in the lead role, Huma Qureshi as the lawyer fighting for justice, Vikram Singh Chauhan as the friend whose obsession leads to tragedy, and Vijay Raaz in a pivotal supporting role. With music composed by Vishal Mishra, the film’s emotional depth is further enhanced by its soundtrack, adding layers to the already intense narrative. Produced by Maddock Films, known for delivering compelling and socially relevant content, Pooja Meri Jaan is positioned as a must-watch for fans of psychological thrillers and courtroom dramas.
As the film makes its OTT debut on ZEE5 tomorrow, audiences can expect a tense and emotionally charged viewing experience that delves into themes of consent, obsession, and the consequences of unchecked male entitlement. With its multi-perspective storytelling and strong performances, Pooja Meri Jaan promises to spark important conversations and leave a lasting impact on viewers. For those looking for a gripping and thought-provoking watch this weekend, the film is set to deliver on all fronts.
